Love the sound of ESW10JPN... Open Full-sized can with similar but better sound?
Uberburger has given an accurate description of the 2 cans IMO. I agree with his views with the 1 exception - I don't find the ESW10 slower than the RS1. Whilst there are obvious differences in the sound, I feel that they are of the same "type" - fast, dynamic, forward and with a small...- kds5000

REVIEW: Meier Audio Concerto headphone amp
@Skylab: Thanks for a very informative review as always Skylab. Having set-up an electrostatic rig, I'm looking to get a SS amp for my dynamic cans. I'm considering the Concerto and the GS Solo SRGII and was glad to stumble upon this thread. I believe you've heard the Solo SRGII and was...- kds5000

Maple Tree Audio Ear+ HD250 Amp !
The HD250SE made me keep my GS1000 when I was trying to sell it previously. I've always felt that the PS1000 had a similar sound signature to the GS1000, so the combination should be very good. BTW, it drives all the cans in my sig beautifully, including the K1000 which I borrowed for a week.- kds5000

Thanks Afrikane. I think all the HD250SE owners owe our amps to your prototype I'm really surprised by the HD250SE's synergy with the K1000. It drives the K1000 very well... even better than the Gryphon Audio Tabu Integrated Amp which I had the pleasure of auditioning 3 days before my...- kds5000

what 2 sell after receiving the hd800
My K702 with the Black Dragon cable and my Alessandro MS-Pro. I feel that the HD800 marries the best qualities of these cans. The D7000 and RS1 are unique in their own right and are not replicated by the HD800 IMO.- kds5000
