Another possible alternative to the 2gb Clip is the v4 M250 which supposedly has about the same internal electronics so should have similar SQ. It is in slightly larger packaging and runs on an AAA cell instead of a built-in rechargeable. That means it's easy to swap out the AAA for another one...

Thanks.  The E4 was the predecessor to the SE420 and cost about the same, unless I'm mistaken.  I have the feeling that the markup on this stuff is phenomenal.  I have SE210's and I like the way they sound, but I rarely use them because I greatly prefer full sized headphones to IEM's. 

Now back to $249 at that site, but typing "shure scl4" into google finds numerous other stores selling it at $119.  Sounds like it's being discontinued.  What is an scl4 anyway?  Does it correspond to someplace in the se110/210/310/420/530 product line? 

I have a pair and was about to review them.  They are great.  From an audiophile perspective they sound like crap, but that's not the reason for using this type of device. 

The AE-1 was a breakthrough camera in that it was the first real mass market SLR.  A great choice and you can get tons of fantastic lenses for it at bargain basement prices.

I found some overpriced ones on google.  My inclination would be to concoct something temporary using AA cells, and transfer those MD's to other media.  You might be able to adapt a phone or PDA battery instead.
