I'm thinking about changing my DAP from 6G iPod (160GB) to 5.5G iMod for getting better SQ. It costs about $250 (sell iPod and buy iMod from ALO). My concern for it is cost performance. I hear 6G iPod's lineout is better than 5/5.5G iPod's, so I imagine that SQ change by buying iMod is not...

Does anyone know about custom cable for UE products? I had used Super.fi 5 Pro for years and just got Triple.fi 10 Pro, but haven't heard about custom cable for UE. I know Westone ES2 cable works for UE IMEs. However it seems not to be superior about SQ to default UE cable.

I've used UE Super.fi 5pro with RSA Tomahawk for 3 years, now I consider updating my IEM. Consulting my wallet I'm torn between UE Triple.fi 10pro and Livewires. I have less info about comparison of these, so please your opinion about their pros/cons. Mainly I like Metal and Psytrance musics.
