Best file format for Muvo2?
Well I puchased a Muvo2 shell off ebay and I was successful in popping in a 1 gb CF card. So far I am happy. My question to everyone is: what is the best format for the muvo2? I want to have the best compromise of sound quality and quantity possible. I realize that there is a fundamental...- cdub

MX400 modded for better sound
Moonwalker, I tried your mod and personally I enjoy the increase in bass. but i do agree with skippy that the bass can sound a bit uncontrolled. What i did was stuff the large vent on the back of the housing with a small piece of foam from the ring that i pulled out of the earphone. this...- cdub

Got ER-4P Short Corded
doobooloo, Congrats on the new cord!! Now that it seems like the Ety short cord is a reality, do you know if the final version will be braided and have the uneven cord length so you can have the cord go around your neck? Thanks, Chris- cdub

shorter headphone cords
Don, I like the idea of having a braided short cord for those who use remotes on their portable players, but i also understand people who may listen at home who desire a longer cord. I don't know how financially feasible this is but, maybe you could just make the short cord standard on...- cdub

burning cds with itunes, HELP
I am using itunes to burn cds. I can burn audio cds from my library. BUT the problem is its burns the music from mp3s which results in loss of quality. I want to know if there is a way to copy and burn redbook cds using itunes. Thanks you guys.- cdub

Reccomendation needed!!!
Thanks for your replys . I assumed that Mp3 players that used solid state media like flash cards or memory sticks would be best because they would be "shock proof" because they have no moving parts. From what you guys are telling me am I wrong?- cdub

Reccomendation needed!!!
Hey everyone, I am in the market for an MP3 player for gym use. I would like at least enough memory for 2 hrs of music minimum. Also from what i understand a solid state MP3 player is better for activities like jogging on a treadmill. Is this correct? I also want it to go on an armband so it has...- cdub

Short headphone cables
its not a micro plug connector, just a mini plug connector....Its just pretty compact compared to the Aiwa hp-vx100 one which is much larger.- cdub

Short headphone cables
I think you should keep the current version and then make something along the lines of the Sony ex70sl. it has a short cord, but then it has a SMALL barely noticeable connector for an extention to make the cord longer. That way you get the best of both worlds.- cdub

Going from cd to md...
Thanks for all the input everyone! Leon, I agree with you 100% with your analogy. I thought maybe I was just imagining that the 831's recording were not up to par and are a little bit "flat". I think the difference is noticeable when compared to my d-777. I guess its time to start looking...- cdub

Going from cd to md...
leon, I was wondering if you know whether my sharp 831 ATRAC will decode a disc recorded with sony Type R encoding. This way I could get the best of both worlds... Also what is your opinion of the 831's recording quality from CDs via a optical connection. I also wanted to thank you for...- cdub
