I power mine off all the time but I'm wondering if all the power cycling is bad for the amp (and for the DPS).

Just a few questions about using the 840C as a DAC Can I feed it a 24/384 rip through it's optical input? If I feed it something lower will it oversample to 24/384? What other impressions do you have of the 840C as a DAC? Thanks!

I'm in the market for a DAC that supports USB. What your impressions are of these two DACs and which do you think I should go with? I like that the DAC1 supports 24/96 over USB, it's not clear whether the Stello does (over USB). The rest of the system will be a HR Desktop balanced and HD650s...
