IEM for gaming
thanks for all the comments and suggestions i'm kind of leaning towards the er6i as it's within my budget, plus i wear glasses sometimes so over-ear designs might be a bother. hoping to make the purchase for the er6i this month and will definitely compare it with the a500s performance on...- 743

help gaming cans hd280 vs a500
yup many professional players like vo0 i think use hd280's that's one reason why i'm considering them. yah i found it very odd, at bluetin singapore, the a500 costs US94 and the 280pro US128 using COD.- 743

help gaming cans hd280 vs a500
hi! I play quake competively and need another pair of headphones. I've done some research and have narrowed down my choices to either the a500 or the hd280 pro. the a500 are about US$22 cheaper than the hd280 pro from bluetin for me. any comments to which is better for enhanced fragging? thanks!- 743

Set up for Gaming
Thanks so much you're answered both of my questions I saw from the sigs that alot of you connect your sound card to your amps. May I know what cables you use?- 743

Set up for Gaming
Hi I'm a bit confused. The Audigy 2 has a line level out is it a true line out? If I use an amp eg. Meta42 from the line out and connect it to a good set of gaming headphones will it be an improvement over an unamped scenario? So the question is do amps help make you more competitive when you...- 743

Deciding btw v6, a500, hd280 n d66
Ok thanks for all the posts. Do you guys think the A500 will reveal all the source flaws. eg hissing in the sound card? Are they truly studio headphones like the v6 that will show the true sound?- 743

Deciding btw v6, a500, hd280 n d66
Hiya guys. I'm looking primarily for a pair of closed gaming headphones to play competively so positional cues must be good. It'll be unamped and I've looked around and narrowed down my choice to these headphones below. The prices were in sing dollars but I converted them to US for you guys to...- 743

how many of you play computer games
if u'r into the clan teamplay thing, team fortress classic will give you heaps of fun but as its getting really outdated i'd recommend you wait for team fortress 2 to come out, it'll be a blast :P the newer games which r supposedly better would be jedi knight 2- 743

r700 amp?
Hiya, I've got an r700 and am using it portably. Thus, will only be able to carry smaller headphones eg. koss or earbuds. Also I think this md doesn't have a true line out. As such, is it worthwhile to use an amp? Will it improve my music considerably? Thanks, Enhui- 743
