Gee...Whenever I've sold an item here, I put SOLD on the listing - in numerous places - but kept the price visible. I've found it useful to be able to watch pricing trends that way. After the sale, nobody has ever contacted me about price or availability.

Sensible advice, but my old cable is a bit worn, and the adapter jack I'm using now is causing too much potential stress. Is this a difficult procedure, or will I need the help of someone more knowledgeable than me?

This is quite an interesting question, and more important than you'd think. My audiologist claimed that using IEMs will cause the listener to listen to music at lower volumes, since you won't have to crank the volume to overcome ambient noise. In reality, however, IEMs can be a huge temptation...

Nearly four years. While I prefer the HD800 for general use, it's unbeatable for chamber music - and in general, a very smooth performer. I'll never trade this one.

Interesting you would mention this. I have both phones. When I listen to chamber music from ca. 1600-1750, especially on original instruments, the K701 really comes into its own. While the HD800 still sounds very good with nearly everything else, the delicacy of the sound fits the K701's...
