I am surprised that the Chord had so many recommendations, even over something like the Modi Multibit and the Asgard 2. I will give the Chord a try.- Spaghetti

MrSpeakers ETHER C Review / Announcement - A New Closed-Back Planar Magnetic Flagship from MrSpeakers
I would have waited and got the Flow, but I got a very good deal on the Ether-C. I will probably wait until production/upgrades times are shorter, but reading the reports doesn't make it easy to wait.- Spaghetti

MrSpeakers ETHER C Review / Announcement - A New Closed-Back Planar Magnetic Flagship from MrSpeakers
I have about $500 left in my budget after buying Ether-C's for an amp/DAC. The source is a recent iMac and a recent MacBook Pro. Does anyone have suggestions? I have been looking at some Schiit gear and that price point. Desktop use, not portable.- Spaghetti

LCD-2 and Ear Pain
I have a pair of LCD-2 headphones, purchased new in July. Most of the time I use them to play guitar through my Axe-Fx II XL processor. For some reason, they are causing minor pain my eardrums after use. I'm do not play at loud volumes. From what I understand, the LCD-2 are supposed to be a...- Spaghetti

Sensaphonic losing seal
I have had my Sensaphonics for about a year. It seems like for about the last month, I am having a hard time getting a good seal. I can move them around and get one, but one I take my hand off of them, it doesn't stay. Any ideas? I can't think I have changed that much over a year...- Spaghetti

Who's excited about my 200 gig HD crashing!?
I just lost mine, my back up drive (after I had just formatted and reinstalled windows but before I could copy everything over). 30 GB of music, but more importantly pictures of my dog from when she was a pup, my honors thesis, all of the data entry for my HT, and all of the research I had done...- Spaghetti

Got a New Powerbook, Need Recommendations
If you are talking about transferring files back and forth to work on, I haven't tried it too often but the Word docs seem to be ok. As far as sleeves, I really like my Tom Bihn case/backpack. Spendy, but worth it. If you get interested at all, Oreilly has a great book called Learning...- Spaghetti

M$ XBucks 360 Price Announced...
It was the same way when the XBox and PS2 were released. None of the companies make a ton of cash on hardware. Wired had an article about how much XBox had cost MS last month.- Spaghetti

small very portable laptop
I have had great luck with my 12" Powerbook. I never thought I would like a Mac, but OS X is awesome! I have a Dell 5150 notebook that I am going to sell because I want to replace it with a 15" Powerbook, mostly because my fiance' decided she like the Powerbook too. If money was no object...- Spaghetti

Anybody in the USAF?
Tell her good luck. Maybe seeing how the enlisted side lives will make her reconsider. However I applaud her decision not to force herself to continue in college right now if she is bored. Maybe she has more discipline then I did at that age, but I just wasted my time. My Dad did four in the...- Spaghetti

Camera Advice Needed: 1st SLR (film)?
The 50 is a good choice. I am much more of a Canon guy, so I am not sure what Nikon has, but I would look for at least a 28-105 or even a 28-135. That way you get out to a good portrait length if that is of interest.- Spaghetti

DSLR? I need a new camera
You should get the Rebel. It is a great camera. I have a 20D which I love. Plus, you are used to the Canon layout. The controls will be roughly the same. Someone else was looking on here recently. You might want to do a search.- Spaghetti
