They look real to me.

for portability they are great, for sound they are great, as for comfort they are ok. Just make sure you bend the headband (see ES7 thread) I would highly recommend them though

Hi chews89 The isolation on the AKG 44's are pretty good, for me the sound quality is reasonably good (very bassy) yeah, I bought them from that shop

yeah I use the same combo for gym, sounds rather nice

I took my ES7s on the train today and they did a good job at reducing outside noise

I bought the ES7s for the same reasons you are looking for over ears I would say consider some ES7's
