Monoprice sells one in the sixteen dollar range, not right angle though. Works fine, no messages about incompatibility.

What op-amp mod would give the best results in the M-Stage for the AKG 702's?

I think that Safari is probably the culprit, not Head-fi. I have uninstalled the Oracle Java due to the lock-ups, and returned to Apple's included Java, but the same result continues. I have had to disable Java and Javascript in order to navigate Head-fi. Hope that this helps.

Java update seemed to work until I tried sorting or opening a photo in the for sale forums. Then the system locked up again. I have to quit out of Safari. The quit option in the Safari menu works although it responds slow. I do not have to force quit, but the Head-fi pages do not respond at all...

Try downloading the latest Java update directly from Oracle. Install from the .dmg file. Then go to System Preferences - other- Java, and set security to medium. This worked for me. Apparently Apple is not including Java updates in new software releases.

I have the same lockup issues and am running Mac OS 10.8.3 with Safari version 6.03. I can not browse through pages. The site locks up. If I disable Javascript everything works fine.

Can anyone recommend a good AC charger for the Headstage Arrow? Something to use when there is no computer available to charge it.
