Can someone confirm that the X5 can't read the Track No. tag?  This apparently in addition to the fact it can't read the Disc No. (Part Of A Set) tag.

Wait wait wait.  The X5 doesn't read tag info?  So whether you browse by folder or category, you still just use filename info to choose songs?

I heartily recommend you file that FLAC issue as a bug, the dev has always seemed to me to be keen to make his app as comprehensive and as bug free as possible.  You might get a fix in a matter of days, he releases frequently (or he used to anyway).   Stand-alone tagging is probably possible...

Also, try XLD. It's a one stop shop for ripping and tagging to many, many formats and is all I have used for some time now.  It includes AccurateRip support, sample offset adjustment etc., and is still maintained.

SD cards should ideally be formatted with the official, free and recommended SD Formatter application, available on the SD Card website (I don't think I'm allowed to post links yet) for both Mac and PC.  It respects special protected areas that other formatters ignore, apparently.
