I just love how my 1 year old aesopica leather case (vegetable tanned) is holding up. Love the patina..it goes well with the patina on the cu ak380... gives it an aged, yet rugged appeal. Lol

U using the AK ripper? How is the sound like compared to software like EAC?.. Same? Different? Also, are U able to rip gapless songs and playback gapless? If so, then there is another avenue of gapless ripping and playback.

Personally, I can say that the gapless songs from CDs that I ripped personally, using exact audio copy, played properly - no gaps in between songs.. But some albums downloaded from the Internet, had gaps in between them, though they are supposed to be gapless... Could it be that ripping software...

It is working for me... I tried gapless on a couple of albums... So far.. So good. I am a happy camper.

Oh...I guess, it is either the gap is very, very slight that I did not hear it, or it actually works... I ripped Madonna's confession album and listen to it via old firmware.. There was some intermittent gaps in between some songs.. .eg. On song 3, 4, 9.... The thing is, sometimes, it is on song...

The only thing I can appreciate from the new firmware is that it solved my gapless music issue... The last firmware had intermittent gaps in between some of the songs that are gapless... It sometimes introduce a short gap when there should not be one.... now, so far so good, things are back to...

i seem to be having problems with gapless playback after updating my firmware to ver.1.25. there are some glitches on some songs,.. some transitioned smoothly without breaks and some with slight breaks.. and it is inconsistent throught.. Anyone else with similar issues.. if no one else has...
