GTA Fall meet November 15, 2015
Thank you guys for showing up. There were so many people that I was not able to settle down and discuss the eternal things again. Nick's goodies surprised me the most. Seems like the SUBPAC is what was holding from completely enjoying headphone sound as compared to full size stereo setups...- Funkehed

Well, not a great start. BTW, does anyone have a pair of 4-pin mini(tiny) xlr connectors for Audeze. I was going to make a new balanced cable for my phones, but I've run out of the connectors?- Funkehed

So, I can declare a one week countdown to the meet. It would be nice if people confirm their attendance. Ideally, everyone has to bring their powerbar. And we gonna need a couple of extension cords, because I don't have any. The room has only 3 outlets. Please don't bring to the meet...- Funkehed

I see a couple of things which I wanted to hear for a while. Wanted to try Simaudio sound of 300D v.1 and compare it to my BDA-2. And want to give a second chance to ATH-ESW9. Also interested in some higher end IEMs. Also can anybody bring a CD player/transport?- Funkehed

With all this interest in just one day, I decided to book the room as soon as possible. November 8 was recently taken, so I booked for November 15. The fee is $100 for 5 hours +$25 for an extra hour. So, currently we split the fee by bringing $10 each. We will make it $5 if the number of...- Funkehed

New headphone amplifier from Bryston
I doubt that anybody would care about a potential EMI while the motor is running during the actuation. A listener would be more concerned with a comfortable volume setting than the potential noise, As for DBA-2; I didn't have a chance to compare it to anything(DAC). Missed a couple of...- Funkehed

Actually, yes. Servo with a feedback not a great choice, as it always has to have a control PPM signal. Any other motor will do, though. The control system can be sent to deep sleep to avoid unnecessary noise. So, the noise only could be "heard" during actuation.- Funkehed

I'm certainly interested, as my Bryston gear is only to be replaced by something Canadian. I was thinking about hosting the meet in a party room of my condo, but currently I'm busy with my side project and don't plan to digress for a couple of months.- Funkehed
