Not sure if these are my first "good pair". The recordings have a bit rate of 320. Perhaps I have just been spoiled by the highs of my older pair (Alessandro MS1).   At this point I would love to get rid of them and try another pair. If anyone is interested, feel free to PM me.

I recently purchased the DT 990 Premium 32 Ohm version. The sound stage is incredible, but I am finding that the mids are really being drowned out by the treble and bass. Does anyone have suggestions for how to EQ these so that the mids are not as drowned out?   Thank you.

I just ordered a pair of DT 990 Premium (32 ohms) cans.   I was wondering if anyone could say how they compare to the Alessandro MS1, and if they are usable without an amp (as I intend to use solely for listening to music with my ipod)

So yet another opportunity has presented itself.   Beyer Dynamic DT 990 Premium 32 OHM or HiFiMAN HE400?   for unamped use, and exclusively for listening to music?  

A new option has arisen in the form of the form of the Beyer Dynamic DT 990 Premium 32 OHM model.   So, I guess my choices are now   the HiFiMAN HE300 or the Audio-Technica ATH-AD900x or the Beyer Dynamic DT 990 Premium 32 OHM.   Any thoughts?
