Aune T1 USB Tube DAC+ SS Amp Discussion Thread ***See first post for FAQ--Updated on 02/14/15***
I just bought a turntabel, the line out from it is a phono line. Do I need a phono preamp before plugging the line into the Aune T1 or do I not? Thanks!- HAN2929

Advice for portable (folding), sealed over-ear headphones with inline mic for $400 or less
I personally have not hear the V-moda M-100 however I have tried the Bose QC 15. The QC 15 have a better ANC that the M4U2, but the difference in ANC is not much of a deal breaker. The deal breaker here is the price and the sound quality (between the QC 15 and M4U2). It is entirely up...- HAN2929

I have the PSB M4U2, you might want to consider it. For $399 you will get a closed, active noise canceling, built-in-amp, foldable headphone with inline microphone, volume/track rocker, and mute button. It looks like that it ticks all of your boxes and more. So take it into consideration.- HAN2929

I own the Westone 4R. One thing you will notice is that it is very comfortable contrary to some reviews. My ears perfectly nestles the 4R. Further more the 4R flushes along your ears, that means you can listen to them while lying on your side. The memory wire is great in keeping the 4R in place...- HAN2929

Etymotic ER4-PT vs Westone 4R vs Shure SE535
What will a resistor adapter do to the W4R? Do I need to run it with an amplifier with it or will it work alone? Sorry, really new to this.- HAN2929

300$ heapdhones
Well, once you plug in an amp with the M4U1, that's extra circuitry. But $99 more for an amp and active nose cancelation, that's a great deal and should be taken into consideration. Its your choice dengreen1995.- HAN2929

300$ heapdhones
You probably want to consider the PSB M4U2, its the same as the M4U1 but it already have a built in amplifier plus it also have active noise cancelation. It is however $99 more expansive from the M4U1 but considering you'll need a separate amplifier to bring out the full performance of the M4U1...- HAN2929
