Bose AE2 or Logitech UE 6000

The MDR1, I believe are $300 and the UE6000 are $200. With that said, I would try them both and decide if one is worth $100 more than the other. Either way, both good headphones. You should be happy with either.

Decent travel headphones (probably on ear)

You should consider the Harman Kardon CL. You can get a pair on clearance at Best Buy for $100. The sound and comfort is quite good. My 2 cents. :)

Bose AE2 or Logitech UE 6000

Everything loses value. Depreciation should never be a factor when purchasing something you're going to enjoy. If you care for your goods, they should last you a very long time. Good luck with your decision and enjoy the ones you end up purchasing. Life is to short to sweat the small stuff. :)

Bose AE2 or Logitech UE 6000

+1 except I'd say the UE 6000 are pretty good. Beats style with actual sound.

Comfort for long sessions between M-100, MDR-1R and Momentum

None taken. I must fall in the category of small ears that allow the momentum to fit well. Plus, At 180g, they are super light. While I understand your logic on the M-100, I still feel the headband is tight and that's why I said it feels like a vice on my head and not ear. Again, it's a personal...

    New to headphones

Greetings! You'll get a lot of great recommendations from the more senior members here but if I may, I'd like to throw my vote for the Logitech UE 6000. Great overall sound, under $200 and gives you a similar hip "beats" look (don't know if that's good or bad). If you're really on a tight...

Comfort for long sessions between M-100, MDR-1R and Momentum

From personal experience, I would have to say the Sennheiser Momentum is the most comfortable. It's light weight and the cushions are soft enough where it doesn't fatigue the ear. The most uncomfortable on the list would be the V-Moda M-100. I have an average size head and I feel the headband is...

Opinions on Martin Logan Mikros 90

Hello all, I was wondering if any of you have any experience with the ML Mikros 90? The Magnolia near my house had them on clearance for about $200. I thought about adding it to my collection but haven't heard much about them. They had a display model but it wasn't working so I was unable to...

    BOSE IE2 In Ear Headphones

Their customer service is second to none. I had the first gen. iPod dock go out on me last year and they exchanged it for the newer one for $100. To sweeten the pot, they even threw in a pair of bose ie1 gratis! I love Bose for what they are, good-simple-no frills audio equipment. Great for...

Looking for beginner audiophile headphones. $250 MAX budget, preferably $200 or less.

Your best bet is to try them both for yourself and buy the one that sings to you. If your source for music is an ipod/iphone, upload some different genre of music in ALAC format and test them out. Ultimately, you're the one that has to like them. Everyone's hearing and taste is different. Good...

The difference is in the drivers size. The M-100 would require more than a portable device to bring out it's best. The Logitech UE is a great set of cans. It reminds me to much of beats with its plasticky look. :)

Hello everyone. My name is Ghostly boy and i am a budding audiophile

Maybe even the V-Moda M100. They sounded pretty good to my ears. :)

Get the beats mixr!!! Haha...just kidding. I'm sure you'll get a lot of great recommendations from the more senior members. With that said, if it were me, I'd probably go for the Sennheiser HD-25, Sennheiser Amperior or the Audio Technica ATH-M50. If I wanted good sound but fashion forward cans...

    Greeting from new member

I'm fairly new to the audiophile game and by good fortune ended up in this fantastic forum. While discovering the forum, I've learned quite a bit and have found everyone to be very helpful. I'm a long time collector of timepieces but have recently turned to headphones. Currently, My small...
