You have sold me on these tubes! They sound exactly what I'm looking for. For future reference what are some basshead tubes around the same price range. Edit: Couldn't find the valvos or the philips on ebay :(. Open to more suggestions.

My only question is how is the bass I like mine detailed and a bit textured. Having a great midrange is definitely a +1 in my book.

I would take my magni/modi combo and take my audio technica ad1000x

Saw a guy rocking some sennheiser momentums at my campus last week. I wanted to give him a compliment on his cans but I was too scared.

I would suggest some neutral sounding headphones like beyer dt 880's or ad900x. also do you have an amp because some of the 880's need a bit of juice

I can wear my ad900x's for about 4 hours before my ears get really hot.
