Portable DAC/Amp for iPhone (also usable as a USB DAC on PC)

As the title says I am looking at the various options out there (Fiio BTR5, Shanling UP5, Qudelix-5k), they all seem very similar, I am wondering which works best with an iPhone and Windows 10 PC). I mostly listen to FLAC on my PC and Apple Music Lossless on my phone. Thanks in advance.

    Westone 3's died, what next

I've been pleased with my Westone 3's have met a sad demise, some how one if the shells got cracked badly. Time to put that pain behind me and replace them. What should I be looking at for around the same money. I run with my Samsung Galaxy S5 and Fiio E18 DAC/amp and something with decent...

    Starter vinyly rig under $1k

I am looking at getting into vinyl, I'd love to keep things under $1k if at all possible. I am pretty happy with the rest of my rig. Something with less of a 'learning curve' would be great as well.   My taste is music is fairly wide, so something flexible would be great, from a sound...

    Galaxy S5 and DAC Compatability

I am wondering if anyone has tried the S5 with any DACs, i am looking to pick one up that will work over USB with my S5. The S4 seems to have had a good track record but I wanted to be sure before plunking down money on a DAC that may or may not work,   Scott

Wanted: Relatively Small USBDA Headphone Amp Combo that works well with Linux

Title says it all, decent sound that will play nice with fell cans or my Westone 3's. Big things for this is small (I want to stow this in my bag each night, don't want to leave it in the office) and works well with Linux (Ubuntu 9.04). Any recommendations are welcome. Scott

    Arnold Schoenberg

Schoenberg's Verklärte Nacht is the main piece I know, both Orchestral and Sextet (I think I enjoy the Sextet version a tad better, more personal like the piece itself). Any thoughts on where to go from here with Schoenberg? I was looking at his Gurrelieder next. Scott

Shure E3c to Shure SE310 or other

I currently use my Shure E3C'S with bi flange tips on my commute to work. They are starting to get a bit beat up and am thinking of upgrading/renewing. I Love the isolation on the train and am fairly happy with the sound of the E3cs (cept maybe for soundstage on bigger pieces of music). How do...
