There seems to be alot of these threads around from years ago, I'm not after one for headphones, its for a tablet car pc project, actually just for the subs. Needs spdif coax in, and rca out, no amps and as cheap as possible. £30ish. Cheers- chug

Getting the best sound out of a PC
Looking around, there seems to quite a few companies popping up with various medium to high end add ons for your PC. We all know the quest of purer sound is usually a case of diminishing returns. There seems to be many ways of approaching this. Also many products of questionable value, just...- chug

Raspberry Pi & DAC for Headless Audio Player
Excellent stuff, last month I was just asking on other forums how the above could be achieved but with one extra function to be able to rip CDs to FLAC or MP3, store and play them back, is that possible with ease? Usb dvd drives are easy enough to come by... I wanted to modify the CD...- chug

Sound card help
In need of a sound card and struggling with all the information (usually in 200page threads) I'll be mostly listening to flacs and watching films with a touch of gaming thrown in. The setup is mid range. Teac Reference A-H500i amp, B&W DM602 speakers for the front. Teac Reference AV-H500D...- chug
