As in will my laptop be able to fully drive my ATH m50s

I'm not that much of an audio guy. I LOVE headphones, but I don't hook up my headphones to a home stereo or whatever. I just like to listen to my music on my laptop. Will the ATH M50 headphones deliver the full sound on my HP Pavilion dv6 laptop?   Thanks

I'm planning on buying the M50s, and I have the Solo HDs now. The Solo HDs are really bad, the bass just overshadows the music. I want the ATH M50s, and they've overall been getting positive reviews on this site. But, I still haven't established whether or not if I'll get the "perfect, clear"...

About 350$. But I'd just like my headphones in the 100-200 dollar range. 

Yes, closed headphones. I heard the ATH-M50 doesn't do a good job at sound isolating though? Am I wrong?

I listen mostly to rock, but other than that, I have a variety of musical interests. Dubstep, Techno, rap that isn't ****ty, rarely jazz, but I like to hear all of the instruments in the music, since I am an self-trained editor, who needs to hear everyone detail of audio.
