Audio extension cable length
My headphone cable length is insufficient. I'm looking to get an extension cable to plug into my computers headphone jack. Does the length (say 3 meters vs 1.5 meters) negatively affect the audio? There is no amplifier.- DexterMorgan

The Lack of Instrument Seperation in Modern Music
The music of the last 15 years has had some great tunes, unfortunately instrument seperation for some reason has been ditched. Is there a reason for this? If you listen to Mr. Mister - Broken Wings, Roxette - Salvation, Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence, you can make out each instrument...- DexterMorgan

Panasonic RP-HT710 - something similar?
This headphone is falling apart on me apart more than a decade of use. It was quite inexpensive (under $40), but the sound quality is great. I am a basshead, and have bought other basshead cans, but I always come back to these for crisp (non-bassy) sound. Unfortunately these cans are OOP...- DexterMorgan

Using Headphones with Spectacles
I have seen this issue on these forums here several time, of the compatibility of headphones with spectacles being an issue. I just take off my glasses, put on the headphones, and then rest the glass arms on top of the earcups (it gives a mild tilt to the glasses, but does not compromise vision).- DexterMorgan

Any mods to make IEMs and Headphones more durable?
Are there any mods to make IEMs and/or Headphones more durable? Eg, using duct tape? Some IEMs have very thin wires, and with these connections break over time. I have a headphone Panasonic RP-HT710. It was an inexpensive phone, about $35 or so several years ago. It has excellent...- DexterMorgan

DT770 250ohm + (not too expensive) headphone amp vs DT770 80 ohm + no amp?
How would these two cases compare (on a laptop)? How would the bass fare? The reason I am asking is that the 80 ohm version appears to be more expensive on amazon.com, and it there is a benefit to the amp, I might get the 250ohm verson and use the saved money towards an amp. Maybe a ZO2- DexterMorgan

Bass boost and frequency setting in Headphone amps
Can headphone amps increase bass and allow other frequency tweaks without the distortion that occurs in the equaliser in winamp? I guess by working in the analog domain? If so, what would be a good amp to use with laptops?- DexterMorgan

Cost (in EU): JVC HA-M5X Xtreme Xplosives: $48 Sennheiser HD 449: $96 Is it worth getting the 449? Another option is to get the JVC HAM5X now for $48, and get ATH-M50 for $100 or so when I visit US in a few months. I need some headphones in the meantime as my current ones...- DexterMorgan
