Tinnits headphones
Quote: I had a similar problem with you, but mine was due to listening in high volumes using some trashy earphones (apple earbuds) instead of headphones. My tinnitus disappeared after a week. I was suggested by my doctor to reduce the amount of listening to an hour per day, but I couldn't...- musicknight

Entry level audiophile looking for headphones that excel in highs - M50 / DT770 / HFI-780 / SRH840
I got my DT770 two weeks ago and it would fit your criteria of over-ear headphones. I also find them to be a good choice for dubstep, dance, house. They isolate pretty well in my opinion, but I don't think that would be a problem for you since it will be mainly used at home.- musicknight

I'm checking out the Lowerpro bags and it seems to be less flashy than crumpler bags, which is better.- musicknight

Quote: x2 I'm actually looking for a bag specifically for my DT 770. I was browsing the Crumpler bags but weren't sure if those were up to the task though they do claim to be waterproof. Would Lowerpro be a better choice?- musicknight

iBasso D-Zero
Quote: Thanks for reply. I researched a bit and found a few brands that are apple certified and the price is just too much for now (still in college). How would the iBasso D-Zero fare as an amp for the iPod Classic 160GB (7G) + DT 770 PRO 250 ohms? Should I just get the E11 or E07K? My...- musicknight

iPod Classic 7G + DT 770 PRO 250 Ohms + What Amp/DAC or amp only?
Hey, I'm kinda new to the amp/DAC thing so sorry for the noob questions. Recently bought an iPod Classic 160GB for portable use with my DT 770 Pro 250 Ohms. Would you suggest the E07k or iBasso D-Zero? Still not ready to spend so much in the Cyper Labs and Alo Audio Products, so yeah. I also...- musicknight

Looking to buy my first cans. I wanted to shift from IEMs to full-size cans now. I usually listen to all genres of music be it pop, house, electro, alternative, rock, classical, etc. I'm basically looking for a good all-rounder and I had two headphones catch my attention. Not really looking for...- musicknight
