These fantastic IEMs are 11 months old and have only been used sparingly. I am the sole owner. I can’t provide any accessories as the packaging was lost in a house move. Leather pouch and IEMs only. Half the price of retail takes this into consideration.- Tony1110

Oriveti O400
Can anyone recommend me a reasonably priced DAC/amp that would chime well with the sensitive nature of the O400? Something iPhone compatible.- Tony1110

Oriveti OV800 and O800 IEMs - The official thread
I am interested in the O800 and would have purchased by now had it not been for an unexpectedly huge bill from the vets for my dog. I own the O400 and love them. They and the rest of the Oriveti line are criminally underexposed. I have been a fan since the original Primacy. One thing though; I...- Tony1110

Comment by 'Tony1110' in item 'Softears RSV'
I'm in the market for some new IEMs after being out of the game for a while. Been looking for something in the $700-$1000 bracket and the RSV regularly crops up as a well reviewed option. I have struggled a little to enjoy 'reference' tuned IEMs in the past. Does the RSV manage to avoid the...- Tony1110

Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova
When you say 'blew' you mean that the signature was more to your preference. I bought both the DX200 and 1A and sent the 1A back to the shop so obviously we have different preferences. Admittedly I didn't hear the 1A with Androdema but past experience tells me it will not be a 1k improvement...- Tony1110

Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova
If you have an iPhone 6 don't bother with a DAP. I have the Mojo amd DX200 and while they sound great out of both I prefer the iPhone 6 to the Mojo and feel the DX200 doesn't offer any great improvement over the smartphone to warrant the expenditure.- Tony1110

Reply to review by 'tony1110' on item 'FiiO X5 3rd gen Premium Hi-Res DAP'
FiiO did everything in its power to keep me out of this review tour. I signed up for it, waited months, and in secret they started gathering confirmations. I nearly missed out. Luckily, my spycraft is honed to a razor’s edge and I slipped in against their best efforts LOL- Tony1110

The bit that asks you to select between charge, reader and USB DAC? Edit: sorted. It was a problem on my computer's side and not the DX200.- Tony1110

Shure SE846 Impressions Thread
The beauty of this is that you can pick up a DAP like DX90 or Fiio X5 for a reasonable price knowing that you're going to get 98% of the SE846 performance. They may be a bit picky with regards to output impedance but they don't need loads of power or a top class DAC to sound great. On a budget...- Tony1110

Shure SE846 Impressions Thread
You are understanding it all wrong. There's nothing about output impedance there. The suggested 16 to 300 ohms is just an arbitrary guide to the impedance of the headphones you should pair it it with. I say arbitrary because you see exactly the same numbers listed on lots of players even where...- Tony1110

Mojo, iBasso DX90 and Fiio X5ii for me. They sound good out of all three. Mojo is a bit better but you need to listen closely to hear it.- Tony1110

Hidition NT-6 Custom IEM Review: The Ultimate Reference?
I'm inclined to agree. When I had one it replaced an iBasso DX90 and I was initially smitten with the UI and battery life. It sounds okay but is not in the same league as Mojo and some of the other DAPs I've owned since. As well as being incompetent with harder to drive cans it is a hiss monster...- Tony1110
