Well, the only tip is if you have any problems slipping the ear pads in, just use a business card or thin card-type item to help the lip of the ear pads slip into the grooves of the headphone cups.- eyesmell

Ya, they are much more comfortable. My ears don't touch the drivers anymore, so I can wear them for longer. The velour ear pad material on the srh940 is soft and doesn't irritate the skin as much as the stock Sony faux leather ear pads. The only issue I see for anyone changing the pads is that...- eyesmell
