Shure SRH 940 impression and support thread
Looks like it might work well, but I'd be worried about the pieces of plastic that could fall into the chamber behind the driver.- Mehow

Grado RS2i vs AKG K702
I like both of these, but prefer the rs2 because of it's more forward and involving presentation. The K702 is great with a powerful amp though. Perfect for more relaxed listening with a wider soundstage stretched in front of you. They are also better with "noisy" and loud music - free jazz...- Mehow

Difference btw Grado RS2i and RS2
The cord on the "i" models is terribly cumbersome. And they are terminated with the biggest and heaviest jack in the world. Not the best choice for headphones that play well with portable devices.- Mehow

The AKG K550 Impressions and Discussion Thread!
Just not my type of presentation really. Too laid back. I prefer headphones with more forward sound and bigger sound sources. Also more impact in the bass.- Mehow

Do I need an AMP? Grado SR325is
You don't need an amp. The DAC is much more important. You should be looking for something with analogue sound. Nice dynamics and no harshness in the mids/highs.- Mehow

Grado SR325is+ G Cushs
I'd like to try them some time too. Just bothered it might increase the highs too much and impair the bass impact.- Mehow

Grado Sr325is vs RS2i vs PS500
I'm currently using sr325is and thinking about upgrading to either rs2 or rs1. I'm also wondering if I should go for the oldies with buttons and thinner cable or the "i" ones. I think I'll go for the old school ones. I don't care about audiophile details that much any more. And I hate the...- Mehow

Yeah, David. Have you heard the K550? How would you compare them to say DT660, or K701? How do you rate them in general?- Mehow
