recommend a headphone band and ear cups for Fostex

I've recently had my head phones modded internally. I am now looking for leather band and beteer ear cups. Senhiesser band and Shure 840 cups have been recommended, but I was wondering if there are better options out there.

    HE-400 or modded Mad Dogs

under 500 dollar amp fo9r Beyerdynamics dt 1350

I would prefer a tube sounding preamp. I currently have a fiio e11 which I plan to use for my portable needs, but I would like to buy something a little higher end to use with my hifi system. My Nad cd player and emotiva preamps both have headphone amps built in but they are solid state.

Beyerdynamic Tesla DT 1350 or 880 or anything else

I am looking for a well balanced headphone in the 300-500 dollar range that will give me well balanced sound, good comfort, and be able to use while walking outside, the occasional flight, and at home hooked up to my emotiva preamp headphone jack.
