    Shure Earphones

why don't you just buy some different ear tips. I had same problems with my Denon's and I found some tips from a Philips earphone that fit better. Just happened to have them and was amazed how much better they even sounded when the tips fit better.

    Futuresonics Atrio M5

when i bought my shure e4's they came with a selection of all the sizes and types of sleeves they have. So I tried them all with my Atrio's and I did like the way the olives fit but now how they sounded. I mean Atrio's already got deep bass and the olives seem like they make it deeper. The...

IEM prices going up? Some recommendations needed too.

I'm kind of glad I went bonkers earlier this year and bought a lot of gear hehehe. I am still playing around with about 5 IEM's I bought and still have not decided which ones I prefer but I keep them all hehehe I keep finding new ways to improve the sounds with different sleeves etc.

So what's the word on the new Ultrasone HFI-780????

I have atrios, Denon 2000 and HFI780 alo vampire and S2 and I think the recabled HFI's both are much better then the Atrio's or Stock Denon 2000. The atrio bass is good and deep but the mids are not even comparable to the HFI's which are way forward and clear as opposed to atrio's being...

    HFI-780 Re-Cable Comparison: ALO, APureSound, & S2

I guess the vampire version is also brighter then the jena cable. From memory I believe that was stated. So I wonder how it compares to the silver apuresound?

So what's the word on the new Ultrasone HFI-780????

According to my ears the Vampire is noticeably clearer and more detailed on the upper end. I think anyone would be happy with a S2 but heck if you heard the Vampire long enough you would want to keep it. I think for the cost the Vampire mod is a great deal. It brings you up a bit more in...

    Ultrasone HFI780 ALO Mod

They do sound better the longer you have them I guess they are settled down now but they still amaze me when I am hearing them. I guess because I have so much music and I listen to music I had not heard with these for the first time and just dig it so much.

    ALO HFI-780: My thoughts

I have both S2 and Vampire and the Vampire is more detailed and clearer on the top end. compared to the S2 that is and compared to stock both are much much better. I would say any recable is a good idea and the quality of cable just makes for more details and better sound. The Vampire is...

    Closed headphones for rock <$300

I heard DT990 600 ohm version is good. It's kind of on my list of way in the future can's I would like to at least listen to and likely buy. But I got a feeling the 780's are the slammingest your gonna find for that price point. Then you if you get some bucks get a edition 9

Broken Denon D2000's, what to do?

yeah my cup fell off a few days ago as well. Mine was the small screw the holds the cup from the bottom came out. I just screwed it back in but it will likely come out again in time. It just looks like the screw is to short. Next time I will look to try and make a more permanent solution. I...

Denon AH-D2000 vs. Ultrasone HFI 780

I actually did like the stock 780 but the longer I had it the more the treble fatigued my ears. I couldn't really keep them stock after awhile. If you listen for short periods and unamped it might be ok for you. Amp makes it sound better but it does sound ok without a amp. Both Denon 2000 and...

Just got my S2 recabled 780 and comparing it to the Alo Vampire I also have. I really am impressed and like the S2 recable. It is actually smoother sounding then the Alo Vampire Modded 780. Now the Alo Vampire mod has dampening inside and the S2 does not and I was thinking I would have to...

I find when I put on the Denon 2000's I forget which headphone I am wearing and just enjoy the music.
