i have TH909, don't think it's mk2, probably the same size tough and D9200 which i think it's has drivers a bit smaller in diameter.

Of course it's subjective but different, balanced and more powerful doesn't mean better sound quality, even if in theory balanced should mean cleaner signal than single ended. In practice, there are too many things changing the result, the quality of all have too really match, not only on paper...

I asked on m15 thread, i see that they advertise all to dsd mode on m11 plus as being better, for a "purer sound". So the questions: what is the point of all to dsd mode? How is the sound purer? How would an mp3 be purer in dsd mode?

As almost any app, beside uapp, it's not clear if they send bit perfect to the dac.

why are you using M15 like this? any average smartphone would be faster and more reliable than M15.

Yes, because the sorting is text based, to put it simple, it doesn't know that the folder names are consecutive numbered based, hence whatever starts with 'CD 1' will always be sorted before whatever starts with 'CD 2'. The solution was already suggested, use names like 'CD 01', 'CD 02'.
