GUSTARD H10 High-current Discrete Class A output Stage Headphone Amplifier
Looking at pics of the Soloist MK2, it actually doesn't look like it has these op amps in it so guess that was a dumb question.- Cousin Patty

GUSTARD H10 High-current Discrete Class A output Stage Headphone Amplifier
Forgive me, but if I wanted to bypass purchasing the Burson op amps separately and installing myself etc, does it make sense to just get the Burson Soloist SL MK2? http://www.bursonaudio.com/products/soloist-sl-mk2/ Call me superficial but I prefer the look of the MK2 as well. Thanks- Cousin Patty

E-MU 0404 (AK4396): Still a great DAC or is it outdated by now?
I had the PCI version of the 0404 in my PC for years but mainly used it for its ASIO capabilities and the coax out to an external DAC. Guess I never knew the on-board DAC was supposed to be so good. I recently retired it because it did not fit in my new PC (blocking video card ventilation). I...- Cousin Patty

Lets Talk Metal
Let me rephrase. when I said silly I was more specifically talking about the sound of the melodies and not the lyrical content. I'm all for the fantasy stuff dont get me wrong. In any case, it was just an opinion of course and i still appreciate what bands like that do in the world of metal.- Cousin Patty

Lets Talk Metal
These 2 Cd's have been constantly playing either in my car or at home for the past couple of weeks. I havent been able to tap into their newer material too much but these older works are pure gold as far as I'm concerned. Highly recommended for those interested in 90's melodic doom from Greece...- Cousin Patty

R.I.P. Peter Steele (Type O Negative)
Yeah my friends told me about this yesterday. Really sucks. Whatever he was like in real life, i dont really care about. Their sound was so unique and it really bums me out that they wont be able to create any more music. At least I got to see them play live once. For those who aren't that...- Cousin Patty

Official Team BEER-FI (Beer Appreciation Thread!)
This is what I drink when I wanna have a good night. A bottle of this stuff pretty much lays me out...plus its delicious. Especially if you eat something sweet with it. The Piraat ale tastes pretty much identical to this stuff, but I give the edge to the Gulden Draak.- Cousin Patty

Greatest Heavy Metal Drummers of All Time?
Always been a huge fan of Frost from Satyricon's drumming style. Within the blackmetal genre, he's a badass. As a drummer myself, his speed, stamina, and creativity are impressive.- Cousin Patty

Rate the video games you're currently playing
Couple of hours into Dragon Age: Origins on PC. Really enjoying it so far. Already a big fan of the Fallout games, Icewind Dale, Mass Effect, KotOR, etc... so this type of gameplay is right up my alley. The only thing I dont like is that your character doesnt talk like in Mass Effect.- Cousin Patty
