For Falcon units which are sold in Japan, is the voice notification in Japanese or English?

The shape of the Falcon does look similar to the Creative Outlier Air. I hope that the Falcon have better (softer) buttons and eartips tbecause those are my 2 main issues with the Creatives. Type C on the Falcon is really appreciated though. Will look forward to demo it.

Yeah. I have bought quite a few electronics second hand from forums (head-fi and also some other local forums/marketplace). This is the first time the item stopped working within a year, and I bought it from a local forum. I don't think I can get my money back since it is not bought from a shop.

Oh I didn't know about that. Well I bought it second hand. Should have been more careful, but it did work fine for a month. 

Seems like I'm pretty screwed. Took it out of the drybox after more than 48 hours, nothing changed. The local 'service center' also replied and said they don't do repairs, only replacement. And the cost of replacing one side is more than how much I bought the IEM for. Sigh.

 Yeah they are fitted in properly.. I even tried testing without any nozzle/filters and place it on a desk like speakers. When the volume is maxed, the right earpiece is almost muted, apart from a little bass grumble. 

  Thanks for the suggestion. I've just put my 846s inside a camera dry cabinet with some moisture absorber packs as well. Gonna leave it for a night or two.

Nope I also cleaned my ears earlier just to be sure. I tried my spare IEM too. I also tried wearing the right earpiece on my left ear, and left earpiece on right ear. Even though the fit is bad, the difference in volume is very obvious.

Yeah i took out the nozzle and the filters to see if there's anything blocking, but nothing. I've just sent an email to the local service center but I'm kinda worried since they don't have the best reputation as far as service center goes here.

Thanks for the suggestion but that doesnt work. I also tried cranking the playback volume to max and put the 846s on the table like speakers. The left side is way louder and clearer.

Thanks for that. Roen pointed out that the mDSD is not suitable for the super sensitive 846s, but so far no such issue pointed out with the Dragonflies. It'll be nice if I can try the mDSD for myself, but so far no local retailer that i can find.

Ah I see. I will be on the lookout for the Dragonflies then. Have been reading some impressions of the DFR+846, and so far so good. Will go and audition it myself when I have the time.

  Hmm, I am not too concerned about power draw and buttons. More on the sound, because I can go and try the Dragonflies since there are local dealers, but not the mDSD. What do you think of the sound differences though?

Anyone compared this to the Dragonfly Red and Black? Couldn't seem to find any on this.

The Mojo is currently too expensive for me :/ Hmm I should go and audition the X5II then. Any hiss/noise? The 846s seems to be very sensitive.
