The mic on my MMX 300 headset is pretty good :P

I think I've been a bit unlucky but I've had these bassy rattles on both a brand new Manufaktur MMX 300 and a pair of T1s :(   Both times have resulted in warranty repair and I'm still waiting for my T1s due to a shortage of drivers for T1s or whole units. Guess they're too busy making...

Audiolab M-DAC is looking quite nice so far and it easily available in the UK.     Budget - Willing to go up to £800 max but cheaper would be fine as long as the quality is par with the A1/T1     Sound - Anything neutral to slightly warm.

Budget is flexible - anything up to a similar price when compared to the T1s and the A1

The DAC will need to have phono outputs to allow me to connect the A1 amp - couldn't see these on the few pics of the HRT Streamer / Head Streamer I looked at?   Metrum Acoustics Octave looks interesting, will have to do some reading.   I'd also be interested to see if any of these DACs...
