i have not heard them but I would look for reviews here and outside headfi don't go by sennheiser labeling that's BS. some reviews say 449 is too weak in bass

agreed with u,.there is almost 20 db difference in bass frequencies between the sennheiser and ad700. up can say bass on ad700 is non existent. but still can't agree on the "deep, rich bass sound " label by sennheiser.

few days ago I bought sennheiser HD 518, has good bass and trance and hip hop sounds good, don't know what dubstep demands in terms of bass.
