The Fiio X3 Thread.
Well it gets hot - I'm just being picky here. Regarding firmware, I think it is wrong in this day and age to be writing your own OS anyway. Rather take something like Android and have your developers writing drivers instead of an entire OS - like for example, Cowon are doing. Just because...- trustt

The Fiio X3 Thread.
Unfortunately, the X3 has been a disappointment in regards to everything except sound quality. The UI is bad and missing some key features (playlists or even one dynamic playlist being the biggest one for me, coming from rockbox). The X3 gets really hot after about 20 minutes of usage...- trustt

Brainwavz R1 Review
Very much enjoying these with chamber music. Other headphones I've tried (RE262, AD2000X) fail to generate the same effect of depth of sound specifically on cello and double bass. However, I would not use these for symphonic works as the sound becomes way too muffled on the low end. ...- trustt

[Impression] SoundMAGIC A10 - Oriental Beauty
My A10 just died after about a year and a half :( When I plug in the headphones it turns on for a split second and then turns off. It's fully charged so that's not the issue. Must be something with the on/off switch.- trustt

Quote: I think yes. I own the Rockit R-50 and a friend of mine owns the B2. I compared the two pretty loosely but overall I got the impression they sound pretty much the same and I very much like that neutral, clear sound. With regards to build quality and accessories the B2 is...- trustt

Vintage Soviet TDS-1 Headphones
My dad gave me his old headphones. They seem to be in good condition other than one of the earpads being squished and I would like to try them out. But they have a connector that I have never seen before and I wanted to ask if anybody knows how I could connect these to a 3.5mm output? ...- trustt

Rockit Sounds R-50 Reviews and Impressions
Quote: They fit perfectly. I'm pretty sure that Comply lists them as compatible with R-50 as well. At first I had a problem getting them into my ear as well as making the memory wire actually go behind my ear while on the bus or train, but had no trouble to do so at home or at the...- trustt

Rockit Sounds R-50 Reviews and Impressions
I use Comply TS100 foam tips with these. I haven't used them for long periods of time yet, but from about 2-3 hours they seem to fit nicely and don't fall off or anything. I'm getting the best seal I ever had from IEMs with these. I'm thinking maybe I should have gotten the Tsx100 instead...- trustt

Audio Technica updates their open headphones "AD" Series: AD2000x, AD1000x, AD900x, AD700x and AD500x
My first impression from AD2000X pre burn in are that the sound is a bit muddy, but pretty musical. The bass extension is better than any headphone I've owned before, but then again this is the first time I spend this much on headphones. The soundstage seems good to me but I've mostly used...- trustt

Audio Technica updates their open headphones "AD" Series: AD2000x, AD1000x, AD900x, AD700x and AD500x
Hello, I'm wondering whether I should get the AD2000x or AD1000x and also I wonder in how they compare to the HE-400/HE-500. Another question I have is how well do they sound without proper amplification? I currently only own portable Fiio and Soundmagic amplifiers. I do plan on buying...- trustt
