My dad gave me his old headphones. They seem to be in good condition other than one of the earpads being squished and I would like to try them out.
But they have a connector that I have never seen before and I wanted to ask if anybody knows how I could connect these to a 3.5mm output?

Would combining these two work?

I couldn't find a DIN female to 3.5mm in one cable/adapter unfortunately.

I am trying to recall which tet I had that used normal din plugs - the small transformers where in the cups themselves.

The Naim din plugs have a different layout, can you solder? The simplest would be to cut the cable and solder a TRS onto it, but if you wanted to retain the original plug, making your own would be the best way to go. Either way you are going to have to figure out which wire goes where and this will need a DMM. I would not assume any sort of standard until you have confirmed this.
