Audio-Technica's New Multidriver IEMs: The ATH-IM Series
So I took your advice, eq'd the bass down and I think I'm coming around. It was just minutes ago that I was checking the room, looking over my shoulder for a weird noise. Turns out I found a new instrument in one of the songs I listen to regularly :/.. It seems to be a muted bongo in a bass...- daveatx

Audio-Technica's New Multidriver IEMs: The ATH-IM Series
Saw this thread, decided to hop on the train and pick up the ATH-IM50s. I got them for 4,920¥ or 47usd? Impulse buy, but for that price.. who cares? I only have the ATH-CKS77 iem (LIST:8925¥/SALE5478¥) to compare them to unfortunately, so I'll edit this with my thoughts tomorrow. EDIT: I...- daveatx

Having issues with your sweaty ears? http://store.turtlebeach.com/x31earpadeach.aspx Price:$1.95 per pad The Turtle Beach X11 ear pads fit onto the M50s pretty nicely. The cloth is a sort of woven mesh, is very breathable, and VERY comfortable. It's not velour, but its also only 4...- daveatx

Pictures of your computer rigs! Post them here!
Quote: The 922 can fit those cards, because I mistakenly said I had the 932, when I have the 922. H70/h80/h100 all fit easily. The H100 radiator is mounted to the top of the case.- daveatx

Quote: You have the 932 as well huh? It's a really nice case, and I've been very happy with it. The 6970 is about 11 inches, but I have it aftermarket cooled so its about 12.5 inches now. The cards are 45C idle(25% fan at 1325 clock with eyefinity ). When you have only a single monitor...- daveatx

3.5mm male to male cables for recent ATH-M50 cableless mod 3 ft/ 6ft / 15 ft
So I bought some ATH-M50s the other day for 60 bucks on craigslist ( I already checked the hardware to see if they were real, they were). I bought a 3.5mm terminal the next day and modded them to be cableless. I thought I could make my own 3.5mm male to male cables for myself, but...- daveatx

Turtle Beach Earforce DSS to amp Plantronics GameCon 367?
If you're into digital surround sound for gaming, the Earforce DSS is pretty nice. It's PLEX&DD setting makes in game explosions nearly rumble [ I'm using Turtle Beach X11s ]. Although I use a Fiio-E7 USB DAC + ATH-M50s, ( I might get flamed for this ) for listening to music I sometimes swap...- daveatx
