It's a guitar album, but kaki king's new album Glow features the Ethel string quartet through out it, and they do a really fantastic job of matching her guitar.  It's not Vivaldi, but maybe it could be something you would like?  

Ninety five percent of my music is on CD, A lot of it autographed, some vinyl as well, also autographed.  It's then ripped into iTunes and Matched to their songs.  It's funny that a year ago i couldn't see the benefit of iTunes match and was ripping to FLAC with EAC, now I'm one hundred percent...

I love this performance because Tegan is so nervous performing a new song in front of the person she wrote it about for the first time.  It shows real emotion, and flaws, and nerves.  

There's only one song that makes me cry.  It's a beautiful song, but it's not the music that makes me emotional.  I only listen to it on the very worst of days, with some top shelf scotch.  So my strongest memories of pain, heartbreak, and anger are deeply tied to it now.  I can't listen to it...

I greatly prefer live music.  IMO music isn't supposed to sound perfect.  It's supposed to be musicians making music happen together, in one "take" for people, who are there seeing that happen.  You get to hear the musicians talk, tell embarrassing stories and stupid jokes, and see them sweat...

I just lent my q701's to a friend in exchange for his 555's.  He had heard my q701's when they were brand new.  His first comment was wow, these have more bass then last time I heard them.  I thought that was awesome verification on the burn in.  The 555's are really nice too.

DSOTM is boring   Piracy has been the best thing to happen to music since the blues.  It's put a good sized dent in the skull that was the insanity of 90's pop(insert sub genre here), now it's far easier to notice the really good bands who deserve the money.

I've owned the HDJ-1000's the first design, the ones that broke randomly for no good reason.  Very V shaped sound, big punchy bass and piercing twinkly highs.  The high notes are what made me buy them, the problem is after burn in they mellow out so the one thing they had really going for them...
