Hi I am a reel to reel guy and love it! Is this an x-1000r or the regular x-1000? I know they are extra trouble, require lots of maintenance but I still love them. Your model probably weighs about 47-48 pounds. Has it been reconditioned recently by a proper technician ? Is it black or silver...

hi guys, I am a huge Martin custom fan! He does beautiful work everytime! I am also a fairly low key guy, but i love the stuff i have purchased from the head-fi community. everyone here takes good care of their stuff and it is a bit friendlier than Audigon is as far as communities go.

My 4 pin connector got stuck too and I am struggling to fix it without damaging anything. How did you get yours unstuck? Thanks, Alex

These are great people to deal with. I purchased a Mini Torri from another member, it is fantastic by the way! With every kind of headphone, Senn800, HE-6, audeze2-3s, fostex 900, grado Ps1000, etc. I had some questions about tubes, circuits, and other items and Steve graciously spent 45 minutes...

I just got mine and love it! It is very small, light, easy to use, no issue with the volume knob for me. The sound quality is amazing, like nothing I have ever experienced in a portable device. Very clean, transparent , zero noise, sounds as good as it looks!
