Post about your PINT configurations! :D
Just built my first PINT, standard configuration with 2 8.4v GP rechargeable batteries. I had enough room for a 1000uF Panasonic FM cap. Sounds great with the AKG 501s. Beats the pants off my portable Pimeta (8620) and MINT (8066). Is there supposed to be a temperature difference between...- phobus

New 24/192 dac from china-nice!
I don't know who will ship to the US, but it sells for $980hkd in Hong Kong, and probably 20% less in China. So probably about $130usd in China or so. I plan to get something like that on my trip there in December. For the price of a DAC1 you can buy an economy plane ticket to Guangzhou and...- phobus

M³ amplifier build discussions thread
I was re-wiring my M3, and put everything back together, but now... With the Ground opamp out, the voltages measure fine. Once I put the opamp in, the voltage between pins 4 and 7 read 6.5 volts, and the power supply gets REALLY hot (its not the opamp, I tried other ones).... This doesn't...- phobus

PPAv2 - M^3 Head-to-Head
Nice work! I thought I would add a couple of points that might be pertinent to this discussion. - My PPAv2 took quite a while to burn in (over a month!), and now that it has it sounds excellent. I upgraded the Q3s to be able to handle the THS4631 and AD843, and I don't know if its the placebo...- phobus
