    Is there a portable player that can output 16/44.1 digital (from wav files stored on internal hard drive/SD Card) - but: 1. Is not a phone (like say the Galaxy S3) or tablet or Apple 2. Doesn't connect to the internet or handle email 3. Doesn't have GPS, navigation, video, camera, voice...

    Rechargeable battery for Sony D9 - Is it charged in the player?

    Just picked up a Sony D9 CD Discman. The large 4V rechargeable battery doesn't seem to be charging when I plug in the 9v wall plug. Could be either the battery no longer works ... or it has a separate battery charger unit - out of the player. Anyone know? Thanks Frank

    CD player with great headphone out? (not portable)

    Looking for a full CD player I can keep in the bedroom (use with Etymotics)that has excellent heaphone sound (better than portable CD players). Would prefer not to use a headphone amp. Recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks Frank

    Recommendations please for (older) top sounding Portable CD players

    Needs to be top notch sound on "headphone out" for use with Etymotics. Duncan has helped by recommending Sony D211 and Philips AZ 6832. Any others I should be looking for? (Need USA and International model number if possible) Thanks Frank
