Recommendations on Preamps that have good headphone amp built-in

I'm thinking of used around 300-400 and they will be  used with both B&W 705 speakers and Beyer DT880-600.  Thanks.

Recommendations on Preamps that have good headphone amp built-in

Hi, what are good preamps that are mainly for home stereo use that also have a good headphone amp built-in.  I have a nice home stereo set up already and am looking for one unit that will serve as both preamp to the home stereo and amp to my headphones, instead of separate units.  Thank you in...

Bravo Audio - funny looking little tube amps

Thank you very much for the quick reply.  I was only able to get to 12.5 with both channels about the same.  If I go to 13.5 on one channel, the other channel only goes to about 11.5-12v.  Increasing one channel decreases the other, so that to get both about the same, I had to settle for 12.5. ...

Bravo Audio - funny looking little tube amps

I have a biasing question.  I tried adjusting the bias to get to 16v but is impossible to do. When I adjust one side's bias voltage, the other side's voltage goes the opposite way. They seem to be not independent of each other. The best I could do to get them about the same voltage was at 12v...

    [Impression] Sandisk Sansa Clip+

I bought a refurbished Sansa Clip+ and it is amazing.  I use FLAC files and they sound great.  Don't really notice any difference between the Clip+ and straight out of CD player.

MUSE Tube 6N11 Class A Headphone Amplifier

I just got one from ebay.  I have a question, I get random popping sounds and static, similar to listening to old vinyl records.  Do you think replacing the tube would help?

    The ATH-AD700 Discussion Thread

I am a new owner and so far I'm very impressed.  I have the Grado SR60i's and I definitely prefer these.  What's more, they don't need an amp.  I tried using these with a DAC with headphone output, tube headphone amp, straight from a laptop and Sansa Clip+ and they all drove these cans pretty...

Review by 'thecos00' on item 'Audio Technica ATH-AD700'

Wonderful headphones.  I also have the Grado SR60i and prefer these.  They sound slightly softer than the Grados.  They are very comfortable.  The only con is the size, they are huge and may not fit smaller heads.
