Well now I am sure these aren't for me. I was just hoping that B&W would step up and make the same quality as their speakers. I would pay the extra price for a better product.

Well it looks like his search goes on. He needs a pair that is cat proof as well, and turns out his cat isn't a fan of the XB series. I asked again and I am a bit confused on his budget. The first time there wasn't a price issue, now it is only about $200 bucks. A bit of an annoyance.

My friend is looking for some new headphones since his cat destroyed his. The request is to find a pair that have a lot of bottom end. Price is not an issue, but powering them is. He will be using a cell phone most of the time, without a portable amp. Suggestions for bass heavy headphones?

Thanks for everyone's help. I ended up getting the B&W P5, I know they are lacking a bit, but the price was right. I also picked up a pair of ATH-A900. I feel these are a great start, and look forward to this addictive hobby. 

I have an odd request, I am having issues finding a nicer 2.5mm male to 2.5/3.5mm male cable. Any suggestions on where to look? The only criteria is keep it below $200 please. This would be for a pair of B&W P5's as a replacement cable. Thanks.
