More Money, More Problems
Update: I recently bought A-Jays Two at Wal-Mart. To my surprise, the stock Samsung headphones are noticeably better. I have bought the A-Jays Two, the MeElectronics M2P, the iFrogz EarPollution, and a few cheaper ones from TJ Maxx. I would say, from best to worst, it would be the...- casperia

More Money, More Problems
Hopefully, last thing. I am adding the SE215 to my list. I like the "fun" description, possibility of soundstage, isolation, and look. Clear looks great in IEM's, in my opinion. Also, I am REALLY attracted to the cable, being extremely beefy and detachable, as well as the length. I just...- casperia

More Money, More Problems
One last question on the RE0's. Reviews on Amazon say that the seller does not offer a warranty. However, Head-Direct is listed in another section as a retailer too. Since it's actually $1 cheaper and it's through Amazon, I was thinking about buying them this way. Is this really Head-Direct...- casperia

Quote: I think I'll probably get those then. But, honestly, I have been permitted a strict budget on this, and I don't feel that I could ever justify anything better anyway, let alone this. I don't understand how people can spend $3,000 on a portable rig they listen to maybe an hour...- casperia

Quote: I have heard that the sub bass is well extended. I dislike mid bass emphasis, at least to the point where it's just wrong. I suppose that those would be best, but, as is often said here, if I can get 80% performance for 40% price, I will do that. I'm sure I'd miss the 20%, but...- casperia

More Money, More Problems
The RE-ZERO sounds more like it. I don't want too much, just not too little. Since I could get the HF2 for $108, I would probably rather do that than get the Westone's, which get quite a few negative reviews. Then again, I'm somewhat worried about the RE-ZERO's isolation, and the soundstage...- casperia

How do you think the sound signature of the Westone 1 would compare to the RE0? I mean, loss of detail or soundstage in exchange for bass and build quality. At Amazon, the Westone's are $85, so not much more than the RE0.- casperia

Also a very good explanation. That's exactly what I was asking. The RE0 sound nice, but build quality does concern me, because I don't like to have to send things away. But regardless, still sounds like what I want. Although, at half the price, the A151 sounds promising too. Still somewhat...- casperia

I think I recognize your profile picture from a thread I looked at, actually. What a coincidence that I was also listening to that very song moments ago on my V6 running from my Audigy 2 NX and Lenovo G560. To be honest, I think that the only strength the Audigy has over the Captivate is the...- casperia

Anyone? A151, Westone 1, Etymotic HF2, RE0, UE600, Brainwavz M1, Silver Bullet, or Sony MDR-EX300. Listening mainly to Queen, with very little techno, mainly piano and rock songs. Mid and treble are my priorities, along with comfort and price. Unamped Samsung Captivate. Voodoo and Rockbox.- casperia

The Captivate has Voodoo Control Plus and Rockbox playing FLAC at at least 650kbps. I would like the earphones to pair well with the Wolfson, as well as be EQable. They have to be comfortable, because that is HUGE for me. To be more specific on soundstage, I want something that will make The...- casperia

I recently bought a fake set of ADDIEM's. I also recently bought a fake 32GB microSD, and got that money back too. Plus, my birthday is in late November, so I have that money too. All in all, my budget has extended just a little bit, from $15 to $110. Right now, I am looking at Westone 1 for...- casperia

Need Help Choosing IEM's around $15 for Samsung Captivate
I tried flashing a new rom, and messed up one phone. Best buy messed up the stock rom first, so they gave me another one. But I do have voodoo plus and rockbox. I think it works 24/96 because my Sinatra is that format.- casperia

Okay. So the seller refunded $8 and told me to keep the product. That's fine, no big deal. However, I also recently bought a fake 32GB microSD, and got that money back too. The seller allows thirty day returns. Plus, the nearest Apple store is 150 miles away so... But I do have a Best Buy. Will that suffice?- casperia

It says dual balanced armature, and all the other specs match. Plus the box has Apple logos on it, and the auction said Apple brand.- casperia

No, but there is Chinese writing all over the box. Plus they look to be shoddy in comparison to my legitimate Apple buds, which sound much better. And I mean much.- casperia
