There's a version with a shorter coiled cable

Looks like they're only in Japan, they have tons of bass, and the band goes around the back of your head.  Weird

The M50's are my first good headphones.  I've been noticing in many songs(mainly electronic music) very high distortion, almost static sounding.  Im listening to 256-320 kbps mp3s through my computer.  I'm not sure if that's how the songs should sound and I just haven't noticed or if there's...

Im noticing a light static sound when I plug these into my computer when there's nothing playing.  I don't hear it when I plug into my ipod, so is this just a problem with my computer speakers and not my headphones?

Where did you find them for $70?  I just got mine from Zzounds and they do price adjustments for 30 days after
