EQ for me doesn't work out cuz if you have a balance headphone what's the point of eq. I used to use bass reducer for my xb500 due to overwhelming bass. m50 is good without any eq. I think. yes. Ipad2 is very well built in term of audio. plus garage band is very good to play around with. so fun...

I got one myself, it's the best portable rig for m50. laptop doesn't match in sound quality.

of course, in most of my song, certain intrument only appear on one side. m50  makes it more easily identified due to its amazing intrumental seperation. not a bad thing at all.

I found a stereo amplifer philips fa1421, very happy with the sound it produces. 

ps3 turn out to be complicated if you want to hear something. I didn't feel like playing mute. a 80s amplifer does gets the job done. what i did is set ps3 to ouput audio through RCA, and I connect RCA to amplifier and then use the headphone plug on it.

Stole my dad's abundunt stereo receiver . ( he has like 7 recievers). It looks like made in 80s. crap, it works like a charm. nothing beat it in loudness. the bass is also got crazier. some photos guys. I am very excited.

dude. the cable is messedup . I need white and red input into something then output a 3.5 for my m50 to plug. so the all terminals are acceptors only. i been looking for such adaptor and no luck. Quote:

I thought about DAC/AMP that accept optic input. Fiio E7 seems the lowest end for that which 99 dollars. Should I just get E5 and input it with white/red audio cable and plug in my m50 ?

Need a new solution. Changing volumn from monitor is very inconvinece !!!!. I hate it. Thinking of Ouputing ps3 audio signal to my M50 in other ways. From either the white/red audio cable or optic . Any possible solution for that? Or product link. cheaper the better.

nah, the headphone jack from my monitor which has a hdmi port. 

Just bought ps3 today. I use the headphone jack from hdmi, ps3 seems to have very good dac. all the music stream from my laptop sounds much better than my laptop headphone jack. can't wait for some further testing with high quality CD play directly from ps3.
