It will be up to you, if you'd like a warmer and bassier sound then go ahead. If not stay stock. I put 840 pads to my M50's, the sound improved because I liked how it came out not because the sound is actually better.

Keep in mind that probably a lot of people have used those headphones.

V-Moda M80 or Sennheiser hd 25 mk 2   Ath m50 aren't that good when it comes to isolation and the bass isnt thumpy.
