Sennheiser PX200-II - any opinions on these?
For me, I feel that if you want a cleaner & more accurate bass, the 200s beats the 100s. But sometimes, I wish the 200s could have more & deeper bass. Even though I enjoy the 100s bass over the 200s, I do appreciate the 200s accuracy, cleanliness, and it (at least for my ears) doesn't have the...- jaywalkra

Professional headphones for a video game composer?
audio-technica ATH-M50, or simply the rugged Sennheiser HD 25-1 II. I don't know about your job as a video game composer, but the HD 25 is great for monitoring purposes.- jaywalkra

Sennheiser ie 8 bad cable.
If you really had bought genuines, why didn't you send them back to Sennheiser for free servicing? If you're saying that the IE8 is rubbish, I wonder how you would feel with other in-ears of lower tiers than Senn's flagship IEM. Also, you didn't state where you bought it from. We want to know...- jaywalkra

Earphones for running
Yep, they are nice phones. Rugged and durable, they are designed for outdoor heavy-duty activities. As light as they are, they will stay on your ears even if you jump off a cliff upside down. But the SQ isn't that great (but good), however, I can assure you that you can still hear your music...- jaywalkra

Denon AH-C710 Review Thread
Got the C710s two weeks ago. And I'm happy with them so far. They were an impressive contrast to my PX100-II which carries the dark Senn house sound. Hoping to hear the changes as I go beyond the 150 hour mark. For something so small sounding big, they are definitely worth the SGD170 I paid...- jaywalkra

Sennheiser ie 8 bad cable.
Where did you buy your IE8? How much did you pay for it? Just answer those two questions. I really think that your pair of IE8s are fake. Mind you, fakes are constantly changing and have no consistency. So, in aesthetic terms, they are exactly the same. But other than that, that's...- jaywalkra

Comfort issues with my Denon AH-C710 IEMs.
I have more or less the same issue, my left ear hurts a little during/after a listening session. I'm considering getting those EX tips. But I'm too lazy to wait and buy the replacement tips online. So, is it okay if I buy any of Sony's EX in-ears from my local store and use those stock...- jaywalkra

Is it possible to buy fake Denon AH-C551?
Just one look at the link and it's 100% fake. Hong Kong-based. "OEM Package". Furthermore, it only comes with M size stock tips (no box, no accessories). http://www.fakeheadphones.com/forum/index.php?topic=560.0- jaywalkra

RIP Sennheiser HD 485
There's still quite a number of HD 485 left in local stores in my country. In fact, a lot of the HD 4*5 range remains unsold. I even saw 3 pairs of HD 200 being sold.- jaywalkra

Some DJ headphones are accepted a lot more lately by "audiophiles".Or not.
I'm sure the Senn HD 25-1 II make great DJ headphones. Only common repeating issue with them is that they have not-so-good soundstage, with Joker saying that even the PX200-II betters the HD 25s in that area- jaywalkra

any info regarding the PX-100 II's sound quality? Saw one here, boxed (rant)
I know this is very old, but last year, PX100 were going at (well, prices are what I saw so far) SGD69, and the PX200 at SGD89. With the Mk IIs, the PX100-II are going at SGD95, and the PX200-II at SGD125. Still, Sennheiser will remain one of the costlier brands in Singapore after Sony and...- jaywalkra

HD 228 Sounds muffled and dull
I'm all good with the PX200-II, but I would want a deeper and wider soundstage compared to what I have now. I know the PX200-II sounds much more airy than its closed counterparts (HD202 and HD228), and I've read that open cans generally have better soundstages compared to closed cans. But...- jaywalkra

HD 228 Sounds muffled and dull
Hey kurtzi, How do the PX100-II compare to the PX200-II and HD 238? Thinking of getting my first open headphone soon. EDIT: @ MDR, thanks for that info. I went to bust the ear pads away and have a look at the magnet drivers. And you're right! There's 3 dents on the drivers on the...- jaywalkra

Are the Sennheiser MX 880s for me? Or portable headphones?
There's a few earbuds that Senn has to offer in their 2010 headphones catalog that I have with me now. - MX 980 - MX 880 - MX 580 (& 581) - MX 470 (& 471) - MX 370 (&371) - MX 270 (&271) And of course, Senn always rates the higher number the better one (can be misleading at...- jaywalkra

Are the Sennheiser MX 880s for me? Or portable headphones?
For portable headphones, I love my PX200-II. If someone is looking at the CAL!, the D1001, ATH-M50, and ATH-FC700A might also give a run for their money. If i had to pick between Senn's earbuds, I would pick the MX580, a good all-rounder. However, I wouldn't want volume control on earbuds...- jaywalkra
