I recently purchased a MPX3 from Mikhail less than a month ago. I was perfectly content with it until I read in another thread talking about the must have upgrades. So after sacd lover mentions the few that are must haves and are great for the bang for the buck... bam! upgraditis hits me again...

if you want the tb santa cruz sound quality but want a seperate front or base unit like the audigy 2, take a look at the hercules game theater xp. its supposed to be the same as the tb santa cruz (someone correct me if im wrong) and it has an external unit for outputs, headphones, mic, etc.

the hd600 has been known to go well with tons of amps... just depends on ur preference. for solid state, i would probably go with a PPA. $400-800? for tube, i would go with the PPX3 or MPX3 depending on ur price range. ~$450-550 for PPX3 / ~$800 for MPX3 the PPA has been quite popular...

oh yeah... I can bring most of what I have in my profile... I let some ppl borrow my headphones. the "best" thing i can bring is the hd650 and the mpx3. nothing else is really considered special compared to whats already going. anyways, if someone can give me a ride. lemme know. thanx!
