Thanks for all the input.  I'm disappointed to hear that the amp portion of the fostex does not compare to my other amps.  I wish I could audition the amp before purchase however where I live I don't know of any stores that would carry it.

    I was wondering if speaker stands would improve my listening experience.  I am above the speakers when i sit down.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

The volume of the ipad becomes unusable when using the amp.  Any ideas anyone?  I would love to watch movies using my amp but the noise makes it impossible.

What size sub is appropriate for my setup?

  What is the ultimate sub to use with my Era D4 speakers?  I don't want a huge sub.  I have been looking at the Era Sub8 woofer.  If you guys have a better idea, don't hesitate to let me know.  I will be mostly listening to music.  Occasionally, i will watch movies.  Thanks guys!
