I if someone could help me understand the wiring schematic (unbalanced recable)i came across this, but unfortunately i still don't understand :( are there some kind of jumper between 1-4 and 2-3?

in the market for a amp/dac to drive the hd650s, don't need all of the features of the fun...i'm curious if the sparrow can do an adequate job of powering the sennheisers....they seem to have the same output specs:   3500mW/25 ohm 900mW/100 ohm 300mW/300 ohm 150mW/600 ohm

the earsonics SM3 are a bit too sensitive for hifiman hm-602, do you thinking going line-out into a t3d would eradicate this?

does anyone know where i can find replacement drivers for the d2000 http://www.mcmelectronics.com has tons of denon parts, but its inventoried by part number, and i don't know that so if you happen to know the part# that would be cool-    i stripped the screw entry on the driver- took it...

I accidentally ripped off a tab from the pcb board on my d2000 (should have called it quits for the day, I was super tired)- I soldered to the connection next to it instead- is there any way to fix this, or is my connection ok? Everyything sounds good.

Just finished recabeling my d2000s- have a problem though. They are very quiet and get distorted if I increase volume, any idea what I did wrong? Issue is with both channels.

I'm going to attempt to recable my d2000s tonight, using Mogami 2534...now, there are 2 clear wires and 2 blue wires- after soldering the conector, how do I distinguish the R channel from the L channel? Its impossible to follow the wire from the connector, as it is shielded, I fell like I'm left...

I've done a bunch of research, just want someone to confirm that the um56 tip will fit on the earsonics sm3- I have an appointment at audiologist Thursday morning, don't want to make a mistake. Thanks

i'm a bit confused, does this amp give the same output power in single ended as it does in balanced? thinking that the toucan will drive my hd600 pretty well, but it would be for portable use, so the source is unbalanced, so there is no need in running balanced....am i thinking about this...

experiencing a hum/hiss (probably more of a hissing sound) that will go from the right channel to the left channel of my headphones as i adjust the volume of the amp....initially, i thought i had some sort of ground loop issue, however, the hiss still is present with a cheater plug, also...

why is little dot mkiv a bad match for the sr225, sounds pretty good to me (though the 600s sound much better). but then again, thats a very relative thing from what i read, it seems the grado's need more current....i just bought a bunch of stuff, and having lots of fun playing with different...
