    FiiO X3MKIII || Dual TI PCM5242 || Dual-mode Bluetooth 4.1 || Dual headphone outputs || Balanced Out || 192kHz/32bit

    Thank you FiiO for not giving up on the scroll wheel! I much prefer this to a touchscreen, especially for adjusting letf/right balance (I just find it more precise and intuitive than a touchscreen).

    The FiiO X3 2nd gen (ex X3K, X3II) Thread : 192K/24B, CS4398,Native DSD, USB DAC with LO and inline remote

    In addition to the X3ii, I have the Fiio E17K amp. I configured the X3ii's "Multifunctional outputs" to "Coax out", and I selected "COX" as the input on the E17K. I used the little connector that came with the E17K to connect the two devices via the COAX OUT on the X3ii and the COAX IN on the...

    The FiiO X3 2nd gen (ex X3K, X3II) Thread : 192K/24B, CS4398,Native DSD, USB DAC with LO and inline remote

      I too enjoy the scroll wheel and buttons. I much prefer this to a touchscreen for a music player! With a touchscreen I'm always accidentally pressing something. I hope Fiio continues to use buttons and wheels in future iterations of their DAPs. With Apple no longer producing the iPod Classic...

    The FiiO X3 2nd gen (ex X3K, X3II) Thread : 192K/24B, CS4398,Native DSD, USB DAC with LO and inline remote

    It was a $10.00 (CDN) difference, but I guess 10 bucks is 10 bucks. Okay, I will bring it back and get the Ultra. Thank you very much ngs428 and Soundsgoodtome. The Fiio will be my first non-Apple music device ever, and as you know, iDevices have no expansion slots whatsoever. I haven't bought a...

    The FiiO X3 2nd gen (ex X3K, X3II) Thread : 192K/24B, CS4398,Native DSD, USB DAC with LO and inline remote

    I'm thinking of getting a Fiio X3 2nd gen. Will this card work with it?

    Differences between iTunes and dBPowerAmp when ripping in Apple Lossless

    Sorry for digging up this old thread, but I just started re-ripping my entire CD collection in AIFF using dBpoweramp. I've gotten about half of my CDs ripped already. Is dBpoweramp's AIFF encoder anything I should be worried about? Is it also reverse engineered like its ALAC encoder was? I want...

    Pictures of Your Portable Rig (part XVI)

    My super cheap rig: Apple In-Ear Headphones, Panasonic RP-HTF600 Headphones, HeadRoom Total BitHead amp and Apple iPod Shuffle 1st generation. Notice the deluxe rubber bands, lol.

    Sennheiser RS160, 170 ,180... Anyone?

    Are any of these Sennheiser models compatible with a plasma TV? I just bought a Panasonic TC-P50V25T plasma TV and hooked up a pair of infrared Sony wireless headphones to my Blu-ray player and there is massive interference in the phones which only goes away when the TV is off.   I'm also...

    Any portable amps with a balance control?

    Just wondering. The hearing in my left ear is not as good as my right, so even songs in mono (such as the new Beatles mono remastered CDs) sound slightly softer in the left channel than in the right regardless of what headphone or playback device I use. On my Mac, I can adjust the balance, but...
